Dreamchasers Traveling Company is a public service
program which offers performances free of charge to care facilities, such as hospitals,
nursing homes, special needs organizations, and rehabilitation centers in the
South Shore area. The pieces performed focus on the dignity, courage, and
humor inherent in all our lives. The Traveling Company is composed of a
select group of Dreamchasers' finest students.
At the conclusion of each show, the
students visit individually with members of the audience. "It's meant
to bring real human contact," says artistic director Rosann Weeks.
"The kids are great listeners."
