When Charles Ashton brings
home Connie as his second wife, he doesn't notice the hate and jealousy in his
secretary's eyes. Nor does he know this "loyal" associate - one of the
vilest villainesses in theatre history - killed his first wife and is turning
his children against the new Mrs. Ashton. Critics called this melodrama by
Audrey and William Roos "delightfully sinister."
